| Space mutation breeding,a new breeding technique,incorporates spaceflight technique with modern biotechnological and traditional breeding technique. The paper introduced the concept and features of space mutation breeding,its effects on plants,and the research progress of space mutation breeding technique worldwide,summarized the exploration,status and problems of forest breeding with space mutation technique,and looked into the prospect in the applictation of space mutation breeding. |
